Our mission is to grow the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel in academics, thrive professionally, and uplift their communities through mentorship, leadership, and professional development.
Founded in 1975 at Purdue University, the National Society of Black Engineers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with over 30,000 members. It was founded to give black engineers the space to accell acedemicaly and professionally.
We build members’ technical and professional skills through workshops on etiquette, resumes, and interviews. We also give members the opertunity to contribute to the Binghamton Community.
